can i have 10 tier 2 sites pointing to different domains on the same hosting ip?

    can i do that and have 5different c class ips with 10 sites on each?

    It depend on how many domains are hosted on that IP. If there are 20 Million domains on that one IP it would be ok. But if there are just 10 or 20 domains on that IP you would create a no-no footprint.

    You would leave a footprint the size of dinosaur feet. But yeah, you can.

    He wasnt being sarcastic, he is right.

    Let say that same IP have only 10-20 domains and they are all pointing link to the same domain, isn't it obvious that the same guy is doing it?

    Well let say that IP has a lot of domains (>1-2k), then it is reasonable for a few of them to point their links to the same domain.

    But still, the best way is to get each of them unique IP (more preferably different hosting company), why bare the risk to save a few bucks if you already want to build quality stuff.
