If you're looking for profile links, there are even providers here on the marketplace that'll post your link to thousands of profiles in countless sites.

i contacted ebay and they told it was not allwoed to link to external sites that sell items but what about if i write "visit my website mywebsite" or "check my website mywebsitedotcom" i asked this too and they advised me to to as it would give incorrect info but if i did it anyway would they temp ban my account or similar, also what about for other website like amazon, etsy and bonanza?

if someone does review the link and finds something that is against their linking-policy this may earn you a ban...
...but i cannot tell how likely that is and what about the other companies. but i think you can read it up on their sites as well and guess it might be similiar.
    read it up.

...why don`t you just build a simple landing page that does not violate their linking-policy and describes the item you are trying to sell more specific etc. etc. there, as example, and contain a link to your main site on that page then?
might be wrong -- but that shouldn`t violate their policy i think?!

No, you can get banned. Best thing to do is drop a business card in the package you ship to them. Ebay will never know.
