maybe you should have read a little more about site-flipping before getting into it...
...of course it is possible to get scammed that way. using an escrow-service would be a good idea for example.
head over to the site-flipping section and read up a little more.

anyways i hope you got a decent buyer that will not take your site and then refund his money.

If you are selling via escrow and all the criteria in the agreement is met, he can't get a refund.

don't worry. Flippa don't give a shit about looking after buyers...they just want their commission no matter what on selling any (scam) sites so you will be safe

Can you blame him for being suspicious? He already paid you via PayPal and now you want to change the payment method.

You should've sold via Escrow to begin with.

I believe you should be checking his/her flippa's history, if it looks ok - then just sell it man - if it looks weird, get Flippa's opinion, BUT generally you'll be ok.

Secondly, as long as the payment in paypal is clearly stating that this is a payment for the site X that is carried on by the domain Y then you have an official proof of the sale - PayPal will NOT honor a refund request by the buyer - and in case he issues a dispute (risking his PayPal Account + Flippa's account + his online and social reputation) you can get in contact with your Domain's registrar and let them know what happened and they may work on returning the domain to you -

Overall, without knowing the specifics of the case, generally its a good market place.

    Cheers,
    -Wizzy

Scamming on flippa usually comes from the seller side of things. So much stuff on flippa nowadays is faked PR, fake traffic, earnings screen shots etc. it's ridiculous don't even waste your time.

As far as getting scammed by a buyer, that's what escrow is for.
