I 'm getting articles with ChatGPT but the truth is that they are boring and not so engaging.

I know that there are people out there that want to build their resume or just enjoy writing, so could I possibly get them to write on my site for free? They would also share my site to show to their followers their articles so there is an added benefit in this.

Do you think getting people to write for free is possible? If so, do you have any tutorials on how I should go about this?

Yes, you can get skilled people to write for you for FREE.
But, finding those skilled guys who are willing to write for FREE is the real task.
They are too few in the huge crowd and it's like finding a needle in haystack.
Consider yourself very lucky if you can find these.

BTW if you're ready to compromise on quality you can find some FREE writers on social media platforms.
Or
If you have SOME decent tight budget you can look for college students.
This college student thing worked for me in my country where the population and unemployment is skyrocketing for years.
I used to have a team of in-house writers prior to covid era.

My suggestion would be to improve your prompting skills.
Watch prompt engineering related tuts on YouTube and talk to ChatGPT about how to improve the prompt.
Chatting with ChatGPT has always helped me it's like chatting with a very skilled VA who's a child.
ChatGPT articles can be both quality and engaging it's all how you prompt it, I have been doing this for months now.

Thank you! The issue I have is that ChatGPT is too wordy. I instruct it to back every argument with some statistic, but it lazily cites just 1 statistic in the whole article. If I give it an existing article and I ask it to rephrase it, it does a bad job, using peculiar expressions that nobody really uses, because it doesn't know my native language well. What can I do for this?
Maybe I should hire someone to edit and improve on chatgpt articles instead of hiring someone to write articles from the scratch?

because it doesn't know my native language well
Your issue is with language I guess because ChatGPT is better working in English.
You can try to generate content in English and then translate it to your language using Gtranstale, ChatGPT or something else.
it lazily cites just 1 statistic in the whole article
Try mentioning in prompt to use multiple statistical data or even give the info about what data you need it to put into the article.

I have much practice to rewrite and improve content derived by chatGPT. Basically sometime it needs to "humanize". I h think this is an amazing practice for me so I am available for free to enhance my skill as passion.

I can do .

The best way to get EXPERT CONTENT 100% free is through INTERVIEWS

I'm not talking about lazy emailed interviews. Nobody will respond to your emails....

I'm talking about OUTREACH then VIDEO INTERVIEW

Just tell the interviewees that you'll transform their interview into articles or blog posts

If you give them a backlink or reach through your own website then you can get them to write for free.

Yes, you can get people to write for free on your history/culture blog. However, you may need to incentivize them to do so, such as offering recognition or a small compensation.
