It looks like I am going to get robbed by a CPA company for no reason what so ever. Their company name consists of two dictionary words. I am going to start and adwords campaign targeting their name and have my ad copy say something along the lines of "-company- is a scam" which will then lead to a page explaining the whole story and asking affiliates to join their competitors via my affiliate link so that I don't end up throwing all my money away.

Could this get me into trouble in any way? I think I can go around any legal complications by not mentioning any names and using these two dictionary words separately. For example instead of saying blackhatworld.com rocks I would say black hat world rocks.

The only thing that comes to mind is that it may be construed as slanderous.

Other than that, its not like you're promoting an offer that restricts you from targeting any specific keywords.

And just like any other dark activity - whats the worst that could happen? They ask you to take it down... Send empty legal threats - The cost of which would tremendously exceed the necessity.

If it's an outrigh lie and the company finds out, I believe they can take you to court for libel. But if you have evidence to back your claim, then I think it's cool. And to the previous reply, to say paypal sucks is different from saying paypal is a scam.

You are right, at the end of the day I have a case against them myself so I doubt they will take it much further.

depends where you are located. if outside of the US, then you are much safer since their legal team wont be able to touch you as easily, even if they threaten.
