No mate. You can get a paid model from the Royal Mail and it will be anonymous as far as the users who post to it are concerned.
You will need to register the POB with a real name and street address and pay (currently around £170 a year I think) with the RM.
It will be anonymous as far as the users of it are concerned but if unlawful activity is suspected from it the feds can and will subject the RM to hand over the box owners details.
As far as I know payment has to be made by electronic means so they can also trace you that way.

I assumed that anyway as the mail has to be collected (from the nominated sorting office) at least every 4 weeks.
I had one a few years ago (when I managed a charity) and they were quite strict about the way they managed it.

The other major service is MBE. With all of them, "anti-terror" legislation is used as an excuse to identify you with supporting documents on opening your mailbox.

You can't be anonymous anymore dude.

I use scanmypost, as it's only £10 a year. Used mainly for domain whois privacy.

I would go to an area of London, perhaps Hackney, and look for independents there.

You can phone up the Royal Mail and they will tell you the actual address connected to any PO Box address in the UK.
