    Hey everybody.
So I have this product that has done well over $800 in sales IN 1 MONTH, might even be $1000+ but I haven't calculated the amount yet. It was sold as to a targetted audience using email lists and some other traffic tactics.

The sales were good and then my bloody web host caught me with a script and decided to delete my account. I tried talking to them and they let me backup my data so I was able to put the website up on another host. This took around 10-15 days and the sales declined to 1 in 5-6 days.
Then when I reclaimed control again there were 3-4 sales each day making me around $70-80 per day.

Now I need some $1000+ for some urgent task at hand and I was thinking if I could just flip a site + the product with all the rights. Also I would rather flip this than sit around waiting for $20 sales everyday.

This would be my first time flipping a site so I might need help transferring the domain names and the site.

DO YOU THINK I WOULD BE ABLE TO SELL THE SITE FOR $1000+ AT FLIPPA???

ALSO WHAT DO I TELL THE BUYER ABOUT THE 10-15 DAYS OF NO SALES, DO I TELL HIM THAT MY HOST WAS A SUCKA AND DELETED MY ACCOUNT? OR ANY OTHER REASON???

My main doubt is that the site was dry for 10-15 days during the sale of the product so will the buyer still be willing to buy if I tell him the reason for the lack of sales (the hosting messing up)???
Also a major part of the traffic was from PPC and other paid sources so once I stop that promotion there would be less traffic and less sales. Do I also tell him my main source of traffic???

Usually the price of a website is 10 months of profits, quick sale being substantially cheaper... Im sorry I can't help you on your details but I think you will make $1000 easily on this one, thats just my opinion though.

I also plan on giving away some bonues and the site has a UNIQUE WORDPRESS THEME

you'd be able to flip it no doubt... but without several months of revenue details you'll have a hard time selling it fast

people prefer organic or regular stream of SEO traffic sites than those traffic tactics sites. i don't have experience with flippa but i sold three sites with low organic traffic with less revenue for three months price in a so called forum.

I now have the site ready. PM me to know it, I don't want to show it to everyone.

I would love to know if I would be able to flip it.

well if your site has made 1000$ already , and you are getting 70-80$ daily , then yeah , you could easily flip it for more than 1000$ in flippa easily.

by the way , PM me the site , so that i can take a better look.

Sites like yours always sell for high prices. Just set the price to $999 or $967 or $947 and you'll probably sell it in no time. Just make sure your auction listing is convincing enough and tell the buyer you'll give him your "sources" and "promotion tactics". (Sell on DigitalPoint, Warrior Forum, paid reviews, etc.)

No one will buy some site that has a few days of stats. There are 100 like those listed at flippa with 0 bids.

Most of the sites on Flippa get 0 bids because the auction page sucks. You need to fluff it up as much as possible so the buyer thinks he's getting a much better deal then he really is.

tell your buyer you had some other site on the same hosting which was using too much resourses, so the sucker deleted your account with couple of days warning and you were unable to solve the problem within that limit..see if you can twist this to make it more reliable

Completely agreed. I sell on Flippa a lot and due to this I also browse through a lot of listings - quite frankly it's simply amazing how crappy the majority of the listings (and more importantly the headlines) are. For some bizarre reason people prepare their auction listing thinking that it doesn't matter how it looks like and how it's written - in reality, the listing text defines if your auction will be a success or not, much like a sales copy defines if your product will be a success or not (actually the listing text IS a sales copy and should be written by a copywriter, not by an average programmer named Nelson).

By the way - I have over 30 Flippa listings on my belt and and exactly ONE has ended without any bidding (and even this was my own fault as I screwed up the listing bigtime).

We meet again bryanon lol. I totally agree with the above, I've never had a site not sell (touch wood) either.

I've never really been a big fan of fluffy sales pitches though (unless its a new site or something that needs supporting) but in your case with a new site that has had a few issues it may be required to get the bidding going.

I'd also recommend providing AS MUCH DETAIL as possible in the thread, screenshots of revenue, verified analytics data etc as this will make the process a lot easier and save you from getting 1000s of PM's. I learnt this lesson the hard way with a new site I sold a few weeks back as I didn't have analytics (I had bought it elsewhere and put straight on flippa with no GA stats) - had about 30 people asking me to PM them with more details etc.

Last tip - front page feature the listing at about 7pm GMT+0, costs like 30 bucks but WELL worth it.
