    It depends:

    1. Are you planning to sell the photos?
    2. Do you structure your site for monetization? (adsense, affiliates etc.)
    3. What niche are you photo blogging in?
    4. Are you planning on temporary advertising products through direct payments? (hiring you short term to advertise them etc.)

    1. Are you planning to sell the photos?
ans. maybe(where to sell?), but I'm still an amateur on photography.

    2. Do you structure your site for monetization?
ans. I'm trying to get another adsense account for this blog.

    3. What niche are you photo blogging in?
ans. travel blog, foods, random photos with at least 400-500 words article on it. I only update a post 1-2 post/week.

    4. Are you planning on temporary advertising products through direct payments?
    ans. no idea on this.

    Thank you for this.

    1. Google it. Shutterstock is what I can remember atm.

    2. Depending on your niche, you can make money from this so if your photos are really good and the topic is really interesting, you can definitely earn money.

    3. When it comes to photo blogging, you can't really say this niche is better than this one since it all depends on how much SEO you have done and how appealing your site is.

    4. I mean.. for example, if you have an authority site which is very popular in the SEO niche.. then you can contact a guy who sells services and then you will post about his service in your blog for an x amount of time for an x amoung of money. This involves marketing your blog and convincing them though.

Photoblog is much easier to rank than normal blog. Because you got traffic both from the search engine and from the image search engine.

Yeah, it is easier to rank. However, I think the answer that the OP wanted to know is whether he can earn much or not.

I haven't tried photoblogging myself but from the looks of the prices of the photos that are being sold in some sites, the income is pretty measly. However, you could sell some very high-quality pictures and include your name on it (not IN the picture but the photographer info), you could probably start to get noticed and can charge higher than usual.

I have a client who's a photographer. The best end goal in your case would be to get assignments from companies or have companies use your photos for a royalty. Depending on the type of photography you specialize in, you could take up different kind of assignments, eg. assignment for a calendar, model photo-shoot, magazine/article assignment, etc.

It would be best to specialize in 2-3 types of photography with decent demand. Build a nice portfolio website with a clear "call for action" for your clients.

Then do SEO for keywords in that niche to get traffic. Also have a fb/twitter/g+/flickr etc to keep your fans engaged and to help spread the word.

Finding what kind of photography is in demand or where the demand is not being met by professionals (most important), understanding exact client requirements, being good at what you do/deliver, and making it hassle-free for your client to reach you, order your work or hire you will set you apart from rest of the photographers and will make you decent money.

I agree, but as a starter, try to focus on 1-2 areas or niches instead. Become better at it, know more about it and then find connections. Make sure you choose a niche that people will usually look pictures for.

Maybe you can try to get visitors on it by ranking it on Google, making a viral script that will make people who visit it have to Like It on Facebook or Tweet it,

Never used adsense together with gumgum so I'm not really sure if they are ok with it.
