I want to get this functionality with wordpress

I have sent my homepage as a static page in wordpress(i will be having my sales page here).I will be adding 'posts' and i want these posts to appearbelow the 'Page'.

The expected result is....The readers who come to read my articles should see the salespage .

I know i could easily acheive this result by having my sales page on the sidebar...But i wnat to know if i can do it my wayfirst....Any expert advice?

Not going to work the way you describe it. You can set a blog post ot always be in the first position. Use that as your sales page. The other post will follow.

    I found something
    Code:
    http://brightscape.net/blog/display-latest-wordpress-post-on-static-page/
But what i want is a little different. When a user comes from a goole organic search to read my post he should see it below my page.

there would be many ways to achieve what you wanted.

1 such way would be to use a theme framework such as thematic. In thematic you have widgets "above post", "above index" and "above page". You would then place your salespage HTMl into a text widget in the relevant widget for the pages you want your salespage to appear.

Another simple yet down and dirty way would be to simply open up your "index.php" and/or your "single.php" and hardcode your salespage html into your template files above the loop code.
