Hi everyone, I am going to test a few methods out and would like to create 3 paypal accounts (8 emails in each account). I was thinking to do them using socks 5 (I have membership in vip72).

Can paypal know I am using socks to create and login to the accounts? Will this result paypal to ban me?

    I will verify the accounts.

Don't use proxy to create and login to paypal accounts.

well - how will you keep the same socks proxy for every time you login to the paypal account? Most socks expire at some point neh? Wouldnt it be better to use a vpn instead? or a cheap vps? This way the IP remains constant and won't raise "proxy" flags.

@periodmao - will the account get banned?

@wiredmom - Hey mod, thanks for replying. I was planning to use like a proxy from California and one of the city in it, and then whenever i want to login to the paypal account I will use a sock from the same state and city. I won't be logging in many times but just a few times in a month and there won't be any huge transactions involved. Will paypal ban the accounts if I do this way?

It's a hard method to mantain, sometime you'll forget some step, and you'll get a ban, wiredmom method is cheaper and better.

Being a self proclaimed eBay and PayPal expert I would like to point out they can track VPN's as well. You will not ALWAYS get in trouble, but it is a roll of the dice. Using a proxy WILL result in a ban, there is hard evidence proving this and it just doesn't work.

I'm a noob when it comes to paypal...I have one account with them with no changes...

I'm not into trying to BH paypal....but I do at this point wind up using proxies for posting ad etc, ..,...

If I am using one of these proxies at the time I happen to login to paypal, are you saying I could get banned? wouldn't that be no different than if I flew to a city across the country and logged into paypal?

They have many methods for detecting proxies im sure, they could port scan the ip you connected from and find ports open that are usually used for proxies, if they were to try to connect to it and see socks protocol instant ban. I don't know if they do this or not, I'm just throwing this off the top of my head as to how they could potentially find out.

@gamingneeds - Hmm you got a point there. But how if minimum transaction and it's verified. I am using them to open YPN account and receive some payments.

@halifax123 - use socks that are private.

I don't know how simple it is where you are, but I have a nice cheap and sometimes free way around these things.
Starbucks and mcdonalds near me have free internet - their is 2 different IPs I can log in from.
    Local library has free internet.
a couple of internet cafes up the street, like $1 an hour for useage.

At each one I have a 'different' identity and keep them all in roboform on a memory stick. When I need to be that person to check accounts or the like I just go to the relevant venue and log in. Always has the same look when I log in to EPN etc as I am always doing it from the same computer and connection.

Has the added bonus of going out, grabbing a coffeem sitting down, focussing for an hour on those tasks, make changes, check balances etc. Then a nice relaxing stroll home and time to do all those things that will generate the income etc that I have just checked up on lol

Forgot to mention that this has the bonus of never having to worry about cookies, or more problematic flash cookies etc as the accounts never actually overlap on a computer - each identity has it's own computer and connection. And all for about $5 a week including coffees

Sounds good. But i guess you
    1. assume no one else will create an account on those computers and use them.
    2. have great faith in the store not changing computers or connections.
    3. hoping they never have to rebuild or close the building for maintenance.

Why do you want 3 or more paypal acs?

Wouldnt you need to open a bank account for each one, and thus your address would have to sync with your bank ac address etc?

Yep and yeah sounds ridiculous but I remember a case when there were planted trojans at some japanese Mc 2 years back so is not impossible.

back to the OP, I used to log to my paypal account with different IP's, sock5 etc, and never been banned, the only thing they required me to fill was my CC number so I confirm it's me using it. Maybe I was just lucky dunno.

Ok gusy, thanks a lot for your response. I might get banned or might just slip away unnoticed...I will try them with socks5 and see what happens.
