So I was wondering can I buy my own Fiverr gig or ask my friends to buy my gig through my affiliate link like gig costs $7(including tax) and I get $4 for every gig and $15 in my affiliate account, so it is profitable for me, I can find customers who can buy my gig through my affiliate link for free, or will Fiverr ban me?
I did this once today, and I got $19 in return of $7.
What is your take on this?

Fiverr will catch you for sure if you try to buy on your own. They will observe ip, and if they found you are doing on your own, they will be going to ban you for sure.

    So better dont risk it.

What if I ask my friends to do it, or in the facebook groups?
    IP would be different than.

I tried it now once, and it is working for me, I don't know if I will be able to withdraw it or not, but I have $15 in my affiliate account.
What code you are talking about btw?

That might work, if your friends do it. But how many friends are they going to really do it? You said you tried it, and you used from same pc to signup for your product?

If you use same ip, you will get banned.

The 5$ off. They must of switched it.

Just don't abuse it too much or they will ask where your traffic comes from.

No way I am going to use the same IP, and I will make new friends by offering them a free gig.

I got it planned, I will send traffic from social media.

it works if you do it properly, just take help from your friends from different locations/cities, better if they or in a same social media group where you are promoting on social media or they received a promotional email before they purchased your gig

There is a right way and a wrong way of doing it. Obviously I'm not going to share the exact way I do it here in a public thread but yes it can be done. The thing is though 99% of people will take it too far and either ruin it for themselves or everyone else. So be CAREFUL!

There are a ton of factors to take into consideration, truly I wish I could list them here but I would just bugger it up for everyone so all I can say it take a few minutes to work out how you can make it as real as possible, the frequency, the type of orders etc.

This is the answer to 99% of IM breakthroughs and methods.

A few years back I had access to a bot that circumvented Shutterstock payment methods. So instead of paying $199 ( I think it was per month ) people were selling these accounts for $50.
The guy who coded the bot, decided to sell it to even more people, this is where things went tits up, shall we say.
Suddenly we had 1 guy who had a VA working 24/7 creating these accounts then sold them for $10 a time.

We had a couple of guys who run group buy services also offering Shutterstock access, etc etc.

Shutterstock found out within a week, closed down new registrations for 3 weeks while they patched this.

What could have been a great earner for a few people was leaked, shared and screwed up by a handful who went into a price war to sell these accounts as cheap and as many as possible.

it happens like this all the time.

If people think they can just send duff signups and Fiverr will be none the wiser they are asking for trouble. Throwing in a few here and there to boost what you are already doing is one thing but to try and trick it with fake sale after fake sale will cause problems for sure.

Been doing a similar method for 5-6 months and around 80k in rev earned thus far (ROI between 600-700%). You'd be surprised how clueless Fiverr is. The method needs to be done correctly though with creating affiliate and first-time buyer accounts, understanding how their automated system works, understanding rev limitations and seller expectations, etc. It's not so much about fooling Fiverr than it is not letting them notice you to begin with, thus, it's crucial to form a deployment strategy catering to not being noticed.

I am going to make an Instagram page in the similar niche as my gig, and I will put my deep affiliate link to my Fiverr gig in the bio and draw traffic from there. I think, I am not even breaking the rules coz that's how you normally promote, or am I?

Fiverr monitor each new account activities to determine if the buyer is real or incentive or even fraud.
Example, time spent on visiting different gigs. If you have 5 accounts spending the exact same time before purchasing a gig, this is a potential tell tale sign of incent traffic.
Next, how many similar gigs did this new account visit before arriving on your gig. Assuming that your gig is not ranking on first page. The new account will have to scroll and spend much time looking for your gig organically. Even then, it is pretty unrealistic once you start to scale. Natural buyer would usually buy from the first page of the search results.

Types of email used to register the account. Types of payment method. Country/ cities of registration. IPs subset, unique device ID, browser UA, etc.

When an order is place, what are your messages in the PM (Fiverr will do random check on your order for this before they pay the affiliate commission).

Think this is easy? Remember Fiverr pays on net 30. They have more than enough time to look at after delivering the work, will these new account revisit the site or even buy more gigs.

It can be done if you mix it with real traffic with conversion at a rate of maybe 70% real and rest incent/ fakes. Usually the real will be able to turn in a profit for Fiverr. And their compliance are less strict when they see profits from your referrals.

Well at least this will help people think before they act. I was hesitant to mention a lot of this for fear it will start a torrent of people trying to game the system and it will all come crashing down and they will change their system. Fiverr has been my main cow for a long time lol. There are a few ways to hide the traffic as to not have to go to all these lengths though

I'll be totally honest though and say I have found it easier just to send real people and real sales. It's way too much hassle and I have even discarded accounts because I wanted to start fresh with no worries or concerns that accounts might get banned or have low stats on Fiverr's side. I was sending way too many legitimate sales to bother risking it. As @Kratos168 said above, it's difficult to scale. I also believe that we all worry way too much about half of these factors though, like @Elliot305 said Fiverr are pretty clueless. Clueless or just making way too much money to be bothered by it right now. The thing I took too far personally was putting a few gigs in sections that paid the most on the aff side, but even then I still got away with that and made a ton of money while I could.

The message I am getting loud and clear from this thread is that I need to step up my game before things get screwed up ;)
