I just want to get my feet wet with all of this cryptocurrency stuff. I have the wallet downloaded and just want to try it out. It seems like such a hassle to make a "major" payment though. The exchanges look like they'll take a few days for the first one. So I was just wondering if I could buy $2 from someone on here Just to check out the wallet and whatnot?

Go to coinbase.com and buy with cash at market rate.

It's a site backed by some big players in silicon valley, its a very trusted outfit.

Hey thanks for giving away bitcoins. I'd like to receive some bitcoins to get started. Missed the train some years back and now, I regret it everytime I hear abt bitcoins. I tried buying some but apparently nobody allows unverified paypal.

Here is my address anyway in case you got some left for me: 14nbQBecAyZzdh4VnD1NBNPde31Vh8TJBK

Check out localbit. You can find someone locally and just deposit cash into there account. I have used it to sell before.
