I just need some opinions on this: I have a handycam and two my friends want to host a news show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnLCqhaaWDI We don't have special effects or anything but this is just a basic idea of what they want to do and talk about. Give me some suggestions/opinions and tell me what you think of the two hosts. Is that something you'd watch and if not, what would make it better? Thanks in advance Just looking for ideas/suggestions on what to do, because I know we're going to do a news show. Just looking for comments and feedback whether it's good or horrible.
We'll keep that in mind for the next episode. That's going to be one crappy day for the hosts though... huh.. huh?
Both of you should sit across the table Facing Each Other ( if u know camera work Place two cameras over take camera shots ovr the shouldier and on face ) Both of you should oppose each other Arguments on each thing This will bring both sides of Picture Best of Luck
Hrm, I like that idea. Just bring up topics and each person has a differing opinion. Yeah we have plenty of work space (well a decent sized room) Sorry about the quality.. my room mate took it into Windows Movie Maker and saved it into a different format and it went from 1080p HD to that lol.
1. Better sound ( i can barely hear them ) 2. Shorten it (it's wayyy too long, make it 3-4 minutes ) 3. Bring the camera closer ( they're too far away ) 4. Use a better background (the white wall is a bit "boring," an example is Fluffeetalks.. he is enjoyable to watch, but his background is also very plain so that kinda brings down the "quality" of the show)
But Just Keep Working you will Be improved Day by Day One more thing Want to get famous ? Use conspiracy theories I was thinking about doing it But in my country there is no freedom of speech they catch u for nothing
I agree with all of the above and want to add that you need some kind of cheap decent lighting set up. That will take care of all your shadows and such making it more professional looking! Great Idea.
learn to green screen i agree. Its not that hard. you can ad video , backdrops go download adobe cs3 aftereffects and premiere if you would like a spinning logo like the actual news channels spinning around or something pm me and i can arrange to have something made . No charge for you and only you. You can buy cloth bright green cloth at walmart for like 20 bucks to use as a backdrop for green screen. Then you need lights. to make sure there is no shadows on the green backdrop even though a little are usually fine. you have a light that focuses on the people and lights to light up behind them. I would get a better looking set up for desks and get rid of the generic shit with coffee cups. but thats just my opinion.
