    Hi guys, Can anyone shut down "by reporting me" my gmail or paypal account for selling information products that doesn't belong to me if he got a proof (like text messages or emails) to show for gmail or paypal service? and if so how long it will take him to take down my account?

    Paypal yes will ban you within hours after being reported.

    Gmail probably will ignore whoever reports you but if they human review your business and determine it's illegal, you may get a visit from the FBI. I think they're legally obligated to report you.

    Not sure what "information product" is but theoretically;

    He can report you with screenshot proof etc, and if they deem it to be severe enough, such as if you hacked a database and sell it, then they can review your account. It's easy to take such reports to put someone you don't like down, or just a competitor so a regular report won't do very much. Unlike, like I wrote, it's a severe reason to believe you are up to something not good.

    Gmail won't do much, no.

    Companies this large usually requre a subpoena or court order. It's however easy to draw bad attention to you such as if you sell something illegal on the darknet and gain a reputation for actually prodiving it. Suficient to say, they will look into it, in such cases.

    Unless its really solid proof and damning enough, you should be safe.
