    Hi
I have an economy hosting package with goshitty. with this package, I can only host one domain name.
I am going to upgrade to a better package, where they allow you to have many sites on your account.
my question is, if i host all my sites under one hosting account, can google tell that all these sites are owned by the same person?

If all those domains would point to same IP address - then definately yes.

then not necessarily, but they can reasonably assume they might related by being on the same IP, especially if you start doing things like interlinking the sites. but if you kept each site "sandboxed" from each other and didn't use the same adsense code or add them to your google webmaster control panel (or use the same tracking scripts on each site) then google probably wouldn't be the wiser. you'd also want to make sure sites linking to one of your sites also don't like to the other, or they can pick up on it that way too.

yes that will be a clear indication for google to know because the IP's would be the same, even if your who.is info is private..

    costly do not think so...
here it cost about ~10$ / month for 36 IPs and 25$ for 100 IP / month.

    Really cheap.
