Can google read my articles under 'read more' button?

    There is only Picture and Title and you have to click on 'read more' for article to collapse and be readable. Question is will google index my articles and give me credit for them?

    Yes. If you have a link, google will crawl that page too (unless it is nofollow). If you have that content in a hidden div which you introduce on clicking read more, google will definitely crawl it. If you are loading by ajax, it gets trickier. I am not sure, what google will do in that case.

    I think he is talking about a section that drops down when they click n the "more" link and displays the rest of the content without leaving the page.

    If this is the case, Google will read everyth8ng, including the hidden section if it is written in the page content.

    If it is dynamically produced when the link is clicked (in other words it is not on the page until the link is clicked and then it is brought into the display) then it will not be seen.

    You are better off letting the more link go to another page, it reduces your bounce rate.

    Yes, it is an actual page and the content is visible to the bot. As long as G indexed it, you are covered.
