Well my family keeps saying the same thing "be careful because diseases can be sent over with the items you buy" is that true? have you ever bought anything that was infected with something? kinda freaks me out a little.

Most Chinese goods have herpes on them. Some even carry krabs.

The scary thing is you wouldn't know about it until it's too late if a product is indeed infected with a disease :(

Anytime you import something from a different country there is a chance for bacteria, disease, or other matter to spread. I have never bought anything that was infected but I always keep my guard up, you never know. I would not let it distract you from your ultimate goal though.

Well I just stay cautious meaning not to order from suspicious looking places/websites. If you are doing a wholesale order ask for them to send you pictures of there manufacturing and shipping factories (most places will not have an issue with this). This way you can see how all the operations actually go down and if your products are being processed in a sterile environment. However, when I buy any toy/clothing item at the store for my daughter I always wash them before giving them to her.

science and logic be damned..... pick up a fucking biology book

Most diseases and viruses need a host.... will your fake louiz vutton have Alzheimers? No.... they won't. TB is airborne, but it wouldn't make the journey.

Will the apples you buy? Maybe, but customs will seize the apples.

For fucks sake...... china is healthier than the USA. They live longer and are in better health, despite their unregulated manufacturing standards.

Lead content is a different story.... Makeup for example, especially counterfeit makeup, will probably contain lead... that will kill you. But it's not going to give you herpes.

Unless you buy a woman from china.....

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staphylococcus

Somewhere in this wikipedia article, it says that they did an experiment and found staph bacteria survived on dry nylon fabric for several months. However, I would worry more about industrial & toxic chemicals. A brutal, censored and oppressed society where the wrong speech can get you executed isn't going to have a consumer protection hotline you can call in order to report violations of environmental laws. One of our dogs became very ill and died, and shortly thereafter the local grocery store pulled the chinese made dog biscuits we'd been feeding her off the shelves, due to having been found to be contaminated with heavy metals and other industrial toxins.

The other two dogs are now almost blind, and have aged 5 years in the last 6 months. We think maybe their livers are shutting down. We think those chinese dog biscuits were toxic poisons, and will eventually kill all 3 of the dogs.

I sometimes imagine what a chinese worker that was aware of the presence of these toxins might do if they found out? Report it to their superior, and maybe lose their job? Report it to the western media, and maybe lose their life? I can't say. All I can visualize on this question is the Foxconn expose they did, showing the working conditions of the chinese workers that make Steve Job's iPads.

I buy cellphones only. The bacteria dies from radiation once you power it on the first time.

be cautious with the chemicals not with bacteria. especially the chemical which makes plastic flexible. it may be a cancer bringer. and no you can't wash it out. past attention to all the chemicals and if you have an authority in your land about chemicals get in touch with them and learn about all the chemicals you need to avoid.
