    Hi,

I want to rank my website in my country, which is an europe non-english country.

But here(in my country) i don't have many SEO services, and want to buy some backlinks from here (BHW), but i am not sure if high PR backlinks will improve or not my place in google.

So, i think that the main question is:
Will affect Backlinks from US a web site that is in europe ?
i mean if i buy edu backlinks from here (BHW) will this rank my website higher ?

Thanks a lot for your time !

Please don't buy those link packages which are irrelevant to your niche. Its good to have backlinks from authority websites but every niche has its own authority websites.
If your niche is brick and mortar (for instance) and edu website won't help you (no matter if its English or non-English)

I fairly disagree with the post above.

I tested high PR links and edu Links for a german law niche site and didn't do any niche related backlinking. Simply high Pr blogcomments and EDU links.
And what do I have to tell you?
    Ranking top on competitive keywords!
Site I tested this on is 11 years old though.

So international not theme relevant links do help a lot if they come from authority sites or .edu !
    just my experience

For another german site I was asked to help to rank all I did was:

    1) about 30 high PR blogcomments (Pr 4 - 7)
    2) one .edu wikipage with related content and link to homepage
    3) about 30 .edu profiles

Site went from not ranking at all to #50. Will move even more imho..

so it's actual working for german pages...

Buying backlinks from this site doesn't mean that you will necessarily get links that are only from US websites.
I bought backlinks on French websites and blogs from a US based company and it worked great for my French blogs.

They will. Even though backlink from an English site would have much more value for search engine.

From what I've seen, niche does not matter that much when it comes to backlinks. It should, but it does not. That's why when you look at the link profile for many high-linking sites, you see backlinks from Japanese forums,, shitty pligg sites that are not relevant, etc. etc. The PR is what mostly matters, not the niche.

But be careful about building links this way. I could see another Google update which will make niche much more important and could wipe out much the hard work you've done.

.EDU sites by their very nature tend to support mutilingual posts. American as well as other Universities have students from all corners of the globe.

News sites and wikis might be another good avenue to approach as well.

I've used English US backlinks to rank French websites in Google.fr and have never encountered any problem. Niche is irrelevant too if you are only aiming for search engine rankings.

Good to know, but I still think backlinks between sites in different languages are less effective than backlinks between 2 sites in english (or any other language)
