They are not good enough to win the world cup
duh....any country would need a more international team to win the world cup...
Yes after they fire their goaley
WTH has this with blogging to do? If you are going to start shit threads like this, do them in the lounge!
[/QUOTE]emphatically no!!!! Need a goalie who can catch a ball!
USA haven't got a single player who would get into the England side but they worked hard and deserved a draw. I thought Dempsey was the the best player on the park.
Usual rubbish from England sadly :-(
yep wrong section!! i agree been a england fan my self i dont have much hope... anyone watch argentina game? they were great
Wrong !! wrong !! wrong !!
<< ARGENTINA >> will win the WORLDCUP 2010
Boy, you England fans are TOUGH on your own team!
Listen, having played soccer for over 30 years, I don't think England were horrible......their competition keeps getting better and better. On another thread I mentioned that many of the USA players had or still do play in England or Europe.
So, their skill level is only going to exponentially increase. In turn, those skills are come back to the teams that they play for.....
Funny, I am the die-hard USA fan, but I find myself defending England........
Guys, the world has changed and soccer or football has evolved. The level of play world-wide is so superior to what it was years ago (I mean overall)......America no longer sucks and many of the other countries have worked diligently to raise the level of their play.
Any team can win on any given day.........and that makes it quite interesting.
I guess it is akin to the US Basketball team not winning every game in the Olympics, when England doesn't destroy everyone in their path, so I understand.
Did you see the US and UK forces in the same room watching the game? I thought that was cool........both rivals on the pitch, but brothers in arms in combat. Now, that is an unbeatable team on the battlefield.
So, I would cut England a break. But, that is just me.
It's the World Cup. It happens only so often, and I love it.
