I jumped the gun a little and bought a 50 cent domain name from one company.

I have 3 domains and a web hosting package registered with another. Can I host the new domain from the other company on this hosting package?

You should be able to either transfer the domain to your hosting company or just change the nameservers to point to your hosting company. You can find instructions on either of these with some google searching or by contacting the companies you host with and or bought the domain from or possibly in their FAQ.

Yes, and in fact it's generally a good practice to have your domain names registered with one (or more) companies, and then the hosting for the content related to those names through a different company. That way you're not putting all your eggs in one basket. I would recommend the second option cfrost suggested - just update the nameservers on the domain name you registered to point to your hosting company's nameservers. They should be able to help you if you need more info about how that works, it's pretty simple really. Just remember that nameserver propagation time can take a bit of time (anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, sometimes up to day) before nameserver changes are seen world-wide.

Cool, I just submitted the nameservers from host to new registrar. I didn't know you could do that. Now to hunt for more domain name sales, it's addicting :)
