The reason I ask is because around the start of this year I started promoting this one product, and I pretty much got at least 1 sale every single day, but at some point the sales just stopped, and all I was getting was lots of order form impressions and that's it, and it has been like this for months.

It just seems crazy that as soon as I started promoting I'd get sales everyday (or almost everyday) then all of a sudden for months and months, no sales. And it's from the exact same traffic source.

It's been a long time since I last used Clickbank, but I always thought vendors couldn't tamper with order form server calls since that data is recorded by Clickbank's tracking system.

@mancar487 is both a member of this forum and a Clickbank vendor. He's actually posted a ton of useful information on the subject in the past.

As per the links posted above by @Zwielicht shady vendors can cheat you out of your commissions, mainly by overriding your cookie by their own, or deleting the cookie [mind you, most vendors do NOT do this as this is a way to kill the business, but there are bad apples among us].

However, this would be done on the landing page stage: your website -> hoplink -> vendor LP -> clickbank order form -> order

At the order form stage, vendors can not tamper with your cookie, since this stage happens on clickbank's servers, not on the vendors'. Therefore, if you are seeing order form server calls, to the best of my knowledge, the vendor is NOT tampering with your commissions. It might be that the product has fallen out of popularity - e.g. even today I'm seeing affiliates promote a bitcoin product with the heading that bitcoin has just made new heights, which has not been true for the past days - , or the vendor's sales are experiencing the seasonal drop that many digital products experience at this time of the year.

If you want you can PM me the product and I may be able to provide better feedback of what might be going on.

Best wishes for the new year,
    Mancar

Another thing you could try to do is test order the product yourself. It could be something with the processor maybe they are trying to order but cannot. You can also see if the sale u ordered shows up in your stats then youll know if theyre giving you credit for the sale.

Also, you said you're sending to the exact same source. Is it the exact same list or audience which you were getting a sale a day with? That could be an issue too.. if u send to the same audience each time u do they deteriorate in value meaning you get less sales because they already bought the product and your sending to them again
