I was talking in a hypothetical scenario, which I thought was interesting and fun to think about, in a purely psychological sense. I enjoyed @BassTrackerBoats reply. Did you even bother reading my post, or is your comprehension of English simply that low?

I read it somewhere that spooks who had high level of access to data (wiretapping, spying on people on massive scale, reading what CEO's of big companies said in messages) would invest in the stock markets via their cousins and friends.... When they found out something big was gonna happen, they'd pass on a hint to someone who was ready to invest.... Or maybe I saw this on Bourne Identity or sumthin.

I'm sure this is the most logical response to post as a moderator, since it sends a hypothetical sense of trust in you, and posting otherwise would lower trust in you / the moderators. But surely if you had a chance to view all PMs secretly with no chance of ever being caught you would take it in a heartbeat? After all, you'd probably have access to some invaluable online marketing data, stuff that doesn't and won't ever get shared on public forums (or until it no longer works). Unless of course these 15-post multi-millionaire ballers are too paranoid to even talk about these secrets / insider info shit in BHW private chat; after all, sharks can seem unassuming in the real world and especially so in an online forum.
Oh and don't bother answering the question above, I meant it in a bit of a rhetorical sense, since there's only one answer you can realistically give.
I read all of your post. In fact, I read it twice just to be on the safe side as my comprehension of English is so low. I am just reading it again looking for the hypothetical angle of it and it doesn't appear to be there. I see the rhetorical slant you put on it but not the hypothetical one. You claimed that @BassTrackerBoats reply was hypothetical though so maybe that's what you meant. Or did you mean your post was hypothetical because you said that his post was hypothetical.
It's all getting a tad confusing now but maybe that could be due to my comprehension of English being so low? I'm gonna have to wait for your reply now to let clarify that one for me.

Maybe Diamond Damien is a higher up from Google, and there really aren't any algorithms to detect PBNs and whatnot, he simply checks private messages to find everyone's networks. No wonder there are so many journey threads to $5 per day, their sites keep getting slapped and they've given up... ogads is their saviour.

I remember reading this thread a while ago and realising that they've been able to access messages for years, but that doesn't really change anything.
The admins/ senior members here are some of the most trustworthy members around (Minus the obvious one) and I don't see why they shouldn't be able to check up on members if they feel they are misleading buyers/ breking the rules etc.
Just like if you borrow my computer for a day, expect me to press ctrl+h as soon as you leave

Somebody claimed mods can read PMs based on poor, inconclusive evidence, and BTB clarified that mods can in fact not read PMs. BTB also added that he doesn't want to read member's private PMs, nor does he think other moderators would want to.
I added the hypothetical that would you do it if you would never ever be caught? It was already clarified in the replies before that if an admin tried, they would be caught because it's always logged. Hence why it's a HYPOTHETICAL. But of course it can only be answered one way, realistically speaking.
You then went off on how I didn't bother reading previous replies, when my whole reply was simply having some fun in a slightly related way to the discussion. @bartosimpsonio even added his own input which I thought was pretty interesting, btw since you don't bother reading, about how spooks can gain an advantage by having private (probably illegal) information, that could be obtained by reasons mentioned above.
