I haven't messed with any of these kind of sites for about 8 years (Limewire was the last I used), so I'm a bit out the loop.

If anyone can recommend one, I shall bless them from the bottom of my heart lol

    Cheers,

    James :)

It's not free I know, but why not get a premium Spotify account?

I pay £10 per month, and it's unlimited streaming with no ads, and you can download as many songs as you want to your phone, so you can listen whilst offline.

You might even be able to find cheap yearly accounts for a few bucks online somewhere.

Or instead just get a free Spotify account and you can stream all the music you like.
There's this rule for Free accounts that you can't skip more than 5 songs an hour.
The workaround for that is to just drag the song till the end so that the next one starts off.
Premium music at your fingertips for free haha!
    Cheers! :D

Have you tried using Spotify? Great app, tons of songs. Sometimes you can find 3 months trial offer for 0.99 (new accounts).

Exactly what I would do until I started using Spotify. It's cleaner, you get to listen to new tracks and save whatever you need for offline play.

I agree with the others about Spotify. I pay for the premium version, it's only like $10/month or something like that, I'm not even sure. But it's way worth it. No ads, and I use it every single day, at work, in my car, on my phone, at home.. I've had it for almost a year now and my playlists are starting to get huge lol. Plus it lets you listen offline too. I love it. My phone is like a walking ipod, except I can add new songs at any time with just one click. I love Spotify.

I know right? I should be getting paid for this.. lol.

Nah, I've just been defending Spotify for so long that I just slip into it sometimes. I've had a lot of people try and tell me it "sucks" or say that Pandora is better.. and I'm like how is that even true? I think Pandora is ok if you want to find new music, but Spotify lets you listen to whatever you want, when you want it. It also has a weekly discovery feature and similar artist integration, so actually, I would say Pandora is the one that sucks. Lol.

Go to YouTube, find your song.
On another tab search "YouTube to MP3" look for youtube-mp3.org (or just copy that link)
Copy the YouTube video URL, paste it in and voila!

I tried not to use Spotify once to save $9.99 per month but I hate to search for hours the music I like on the Internet. I Can't find the music I want, the quality is poor, most of the time links are down, the CD torrents are videos from YouTube converted to mp3, Spotify rocks and saves me a lot of trouble. I listen while going to work, shopping, at home, long trips, just amazing.

I don't know about downloading, but you can listen to good music at:
    Code:
    http://8tracks.com
About Spotify: they new policy scared away a lot of users, I don't remember what was the issue there.
