    Hi.

I bought some hosting and installed the 'softalicious' script for Wordpress. Everything set up fine.

I pointed my nameservers from my domain to the hosting ip's.

Now, when i enter my domain to look at the site, im getting the hosting 'index' page?

    Any ideas?

It can often take some time before the nameserver change takes effect.

Check if the nameservers have propagated fully.

Try ping yoursite.com in your command prompt (Press Windows Key + R and enter cmd and enter the command in the black console )

If the IP is of your hosting, then its not the nameserver issue.

Also check if there are files in the domain folder. Maybe you installed WP for the wrong site/directory?

ADD: I just reread that you see your hostings index page. Well, so can you verify the wp file exists at the right location? Also, there is a chance you have and index.html defaulted by the hosting over wordpress index.php. Delete that index.html in that case.
