    So I need to scale my images since they slow my site a lot.

    I am using Bimber theme and it seems like it serves some kind of scaled images but bigger than the box it shows.

    I have found a method here ...
    Code:
    http://wpbeaches.com/make-images-scale-responsive-web-design/
    ..but I am not sure where exactly to add this code

    Can anyone help me with that or if you guys have any different suggestions?

    Try this, although without seeing your site it's a bit hard to tell. Have you done right click inspect element in chrome?
    Anyway try this below in the child theme css
    img {max-width:100%!important}

    Yes, did it work? Which of the Bimber themes are you using? So difficult to tell when i don't know your site url so i'm doing this blind. ( Don't put your url on here ).
    I've looked at all the demos for the theme, all seem to be responsive
    Just a tip though, when replying it's best to use the reply button, that way there is an alert so i'd see it otherwise i might never visit this thread and i won't know you've replied. Always best to use the reply button so members know

    no still its slow as hell 47 mobile, 57 desktop, 7 passed, have server response time 0.22 in yellow and the other warning, the red, is to optimize images, most show like 80-90% that can be reduced. I am using smush and in the dashboard of smush it shows all the bimber thumbnails I dont know why it shows em so big
