    ...That makes two of us. I am not a BlackHat expert, but I am pretty good at other stuff.

    Love the babyblackhat 'handle' but what happens when you do become an expert? You can't stay a baby forever.

    These might help:

    Code:
    http://pingomatic.com/
    Code:
    http://www.pingmyblog.com/
    Code:
    http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

    I would stay away from pingoat as the old owner at least where going through the ping list and was reporting pages that he thought where spam.

    No to pinging.

    Your page need to have an RSS or Atom feed for pinging to be effective.

    If your page has this, then you should ping the page about each 12 hours, at least thats what I do.

    Don't ping each time you update as the services will ignore you if you ping to much.

    Use Joseph Tierney's excellent Blogpinger Pro to ping your sites.

    Blogpinger pro is a free software I believe.

    go here and access theres huge pinglist to use for pinging.

    Ping all those services with your page adress.

    hxxp://w3.crappytools.com/pingurls/list.asp
    Change the x to t and w3 to www

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards

    I ping in a different way. And it still works fine for me:

    Instead of pinging my own site I forward my domain to web directories (those directories, where your added url shows up instantly without a mod review) or make blogs and put my links on it. Than I'm pinging the directories (the category site, where my url is showed) or blogs. Also possible with sb sites

    I use hxxp://w3.ping*ates.com

    I set up a Blogger blog. Run a program/website I made to map my sitemap into links. Paste the links on the post. Ping the blogger blog.

    Works ok ... Around 90% of my pages are indexed.

    As my name itself suggests, im still a baby, hardly a webmaster or anything of that sort. I can't concentrate enough on a specific corner of the BHworld. I keep shifting between the ideas and actually get nowhere doing that..maybe that's why im still a baby. I know search engines prefer blogs over the websites because of their dynamic nature. That's why i shifted my focus to bulding blogs( have'nt really built any real blogs until now, still wondering how to).
    If my fellow friends can teach me how to create a money earning blog and the about the ways of monetizing it..that'd be of extreme help....thnxx for all who those who has contributed their bit to my concern....

    Sorry but your dead wrong, you can ping individual pages to no need for a RSS feed to be effective , i do it all the time for my SEC sites and get my pages indexed pretty fast.

    I use all-day-sucker from keyw0rd*candy*com witch comes with proxy support, it basically suck in all your pages from the sitemap and ping them to your list.

    hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?eb1efx9eajd (ADS)

    And i use crappy*t00ls.com for a up to date ping list, i see the googlebot within a minute after pinging in my logs so that tells me that pinging doesnt need a RSS.

    Well that the spiders shows up at your doorsteps does not mean that they actually get you indexed at that time.

    If you have an RSS or Atom feed, your page can show up on blogger search, technorati, yahoo news, google news and many more places withing 1 hour.

    If you keep continue to ping, have you noticed that the technorati bot don't show up anymore with other bots as well?

    The ping is simply telling, I have news, I have news.
    Then the RSS and Atom spiders runs to your page and tries to find the RSS and Atom.
    One or Two of the bots may actually index you if you don't have RSS or Atom.

    But the much more effective way to index such a page is to build f.ex. a blogger blog with a sitemap of your page without the RSS and Atom and then ping the blogger.

    I almost can guarantee you this will get you much faster indexed, rather than pinging your page without RSS and Atom.

    But sure it works to ping a page without RSS and Atom, just not as effective.

    Best regards,
    Kandor

    There is a keygen in it

    First thing you do is open ADS and ad a random email in it then click the link to retrieve the serial IE will open en you get a message that something went wrong doesnt matter now what you do is open the keygen and copy/paste the url from IE in the upper text box and press generate, if all went well you have yourself a key, good luck.

    @kandor

    When i see spiders showing up i am indexed within 48 hours in G and 72 in Y, MSN never index me but ho cares.

    I am not saying that you shouldn't use RSS feeds to get indexed, but you clearly stated that you "need" a RSS feed to ping your site and that is wrong you do not "need" a RSS feed to ping your site.

    I've done a few tests in the past, from what I've seen with Google it seems to me if you ping a page without a feed G will fetch the page, but do nothing further. If the page has a feed then G will fetch the feed and spider from the links in the feed. The feed seems to 'trigger' G to spider more deeply. So you may not need a feed to ping but it's more effective if you have one.

    The problem is of course you can't tell if getting indexed is because of the pinging or something else that you've done, or your registrar has done, or ....

    I would certainly recommend putting a feed on any page you ping, easy enough to set-up so why not (It may also be that G spiders pages more often if they have a feed)

    @babyblackhat

    I dont know i dont make money with blogs, blogs for me are just a tool for getting my sites indexed.

    @scriptkiddy

    In the end pinging pages or pinging a feed isn't the answer to get indexed and ranked that can only be done by deep links to your site, pinging is a way to get the spiders to visit more rapidly and will help you getting indexed faster, but without backlinks pinging is useless

    I wanted to make that clear because people might think that pinging alone would do the trick, well it would if it was 2004 :D

    I've been looking for this answer for a while and I can't seem to find it. How would I stop a ping in Wordpress? Do I check the option to "hide from search engines"? Or do I remove all the ping sites in the list? Should I do both? Or should I just temporarily rename the php file that takes care of the pinging? Sorry to sound like an idiot, but I don't want to mess up my ranking because of my blog pinging everytime I change a setting. Thanks.

    I'd like to know this too. I though that there had to be an option to do it in the WP dashboard but, short of blocking the blog from the search engines and making it private, I dont' see how to. I put the question on the WP forum and will let you know if I hear anything. If anyone has an idea, please chime in.
