Im trying to put up a forum with my wordpress site. Does anybody know of any that integrates nice with wordpress. Im thinking about using phpBB but i would like it to keep consistent with the wordpress theme and for some reason I dont think phpBB is going to do that.

    Thank you in advance.

Ummmm. Mingle is actually the best for wordpress right now unless you hire a coder to set you up one on the scratch.

    http://bbpress.org/

I never used it, but its from the creators of Wordpress, so I believe they can be easily integrated

    EDIT: Looks like it is

    - Visit the WordPress Administration Screens and navigate to Plugins > Add New.
    - Search for bbPress
    - Locate the bbPress plugin and click install
    - Activate the plugin

I was going to do that i was like the MYBB Forum. IT looks nice and clean. But I still didnt want to have like two sites in one. I wanted it all to be on the same theme. What I will probably do is use buddypress. It looks like it has a nice forum and this way everything stays uniform. Anybody ever used buddypress. Would like some feedback.

Buddypress actually is a good choice. You can have your own choice right through this. These tools are little different from each other. So you may choose what you like.

You could use phpbb with wordpress plugin such as wordpress.org/extend/plugins/phpbb-single-sign-on/ there was one for mybb too called wordbb I think but is discontinued, however in the community forum you can still get help to install it without problems but its a hassle
