Can an older video get to the front page?

If I blasted views to a video that is 11 months old, can it get to the front page or is the front page ONLY for "new" vids?

I don't think views alone are going to help get you to the front page. There is a lot more you can do to get there. For example, naming the video file itself with your keywords before uploading would greatly help with ranking on YT. Comments, likes, subscribers all play a roll along with optimizing your titles, description, and meta tags.

Agreed. It has gotten 60k+ real views in 11 months (who care, I know) but I personally think if it was seen by many people it would go semi-viral (but who doesnt think their own videos are great??? lol)

A lot of these view providers say they can get you on the front page with 100k-200k views in a day.... So I am wondering if older videos can get front page exposure or is it just limited to new uploads???
