Can an affiliate manager see where your traffics coming from when using a "url shortener"

Hi, title says it all pretty much and don't know if it's a dumb question or not don't know a lot about computers. Can an affiliate manager see where your traffics coming from if you're using a url shortener? For example if i'm getting traffic from a domain and redirecting with the url shortener with my affiliate link will they see that the traffic came from the shortened url or will it somehow be possible they still see it came from the domain?

They could find out where those links are posted, but if it's on multiple sites it should not be possible to determine which one of them.

Hi, thanks. I think what I meant is by the information sent by the browser. For example I know when you visit a site it sends referral header and tells where you came from. Would they just see that it came from the short url domain or would it somehow be possible they still see it came from mine?

you can use meta refresh to blank the ref

As far as i know this depends highly on the software they use behind it. If it is cake of NATS they should be able to see it.
