Hi there. Just a quick question...
If a person pays another person abroad via bank deposit on e-bay, could they claim the money back if they wanted to? Say if the item wasn't as described? Even though e-bay and paypal would not know that payment had been made? Is it likely law enforcement or police would act on this situation as the 2 people are in different countries? Thank you...

yes they could. if they go back to there bank and say they did not get the product or it was wrong there bank would put a claim out to your bank wanting a response back.

Works just like when you dispute a credit card payment. or when you request a wire transfer to be returned.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I've read numerous forums though and most say that the chances of getting the money back would be very slim. Couldn't the seller just deny the claims or say that what they had sent was actually legitimate or 'as described' ??? Considering it isn't even in the same country too...
