I am really new to instagram automation. So i made the mistake of automating over 15 accounts with no proxies whatsoever. ofcourse learning the hard way, starting to get blocks over and over. So now ive changed my Ip adress, and decided to run only 1 account with automation on my residential ip. the question here is, can instagram see i just changed my ip adress, and realise its the same place the previous automation was from?

Its enough to change the Ip address. Of course they can track other things but when you're disable GPS in the settings, they can only track your location from your IP adress. Good luck!

For sure they do but that ain't a problem.

Many people can log into IG from the same town using their friends/family home IP, the ip at the coffee shop, airport, etc

For some reason, during some time I wasn't able to follow anyone with my wi-fi connection at home, even when resetting my IP address. Since I moved out to another location, I can do this freely. Maybe some locations are soft-banned?

The only connection they will most likely make is your fingerprint (browser etc.) By changing IP your risk of getting tracked is minimal to non-existent
