    Hi ,
i'm thinking about redirecting a couple of domain names (301 redirects) to one of my new websites , because i heard those redirects help the rankings.
anyway i was wondering if the domain i redirect is penalized , can this affect the new domain name its redirected to ?
    thanks

Hey you'd save time if you just put in a small effort before making a new thread

I google'd; site:blackhatworld.com can a 301 redirect from a penalized domain name penalize the new one

    First result: blackhatworld .com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/579259-301-redirect-older-de-ranked-sites-add-link-juice.html

Much quicker than starting a thread and checking it!

A perm. re-direct doesn't have all positives behind it, so yes... Eventually the same backlinks that you had will be re-directed.
and you'll see this sooner than later after re-establishing a new domain.
