This is what I think has happened. Only transactional emails can be sent without unsub link. Others should be sent with one (and it should actually work).Did you include the unsubscribe link in your copy?
Yes I included it. 0.1% unsubscribes in total. Most likely your subscribers marked it as spam and that's it. Did you include the unsubscribe link in your copy?
Same topic, same subject, same body, same everything. This is what I think has happened. Only transactional emails can be sent without unsub link. Others should be sent with one (and it should actually work).
Also, are those double opt in subs? Did you suddenly change the topic of the newsletters? That can be bad as well. Let’s say someone subbed for a tech newsletter and got one about sex dolls.
Maybe. Any way I can check this? You may have received a complaint
Is there a way to see how many ppl marked as spam?Or when people mark your emails as spam that too can mess a good flow
Hmm then I guess it’s your sender…Or total amount of spam reports is big enough (unsub != spam report).Same topic, same subject, same body, same everything.
Only difference is yesterday I sent it in batches (1-2k at a time), today in one go.
Should I have warmed it up slowly like yesterday?
No, not that I know ofIs there a way to see how many ppl marked as spam?
Should I send the emails again with a different subject and body text?Hmm then I guess it’s your sender…Or total amount of spam reports is big enough (unsub != spam report).
If a sending domain gets a lot of spam reports, is it fucked? Or can it recover easily? No, not that I know of
Talk with the support of your autoresponderMaybe. Any way I can check this?
If you are using a legit sender, they will almost always have one. For example sendgrid has one:Is there a way to see how many ppl marked as spam?
May be let it cool down for a day or two and try again. The chances of that working is slim though. Sorry to say.Should I send the emails again with a different subject and body text?
It always happens.I am also facing the same issue. As soon as a few of your email receivers complain, your next emails start falling in the spam box.Yesterday I was sending emails with no problem. Now they all go to the spam filter. Same message, same subject.
What gives?
Could it be the 5 unsubscribes I got yesterday?
I had really good open rate / click rate...
Thanks. If you are using a legit sender, they will almost always have one. For example sendgrid has one:

That’s not bad imo.Thanks.
0.05% spam reports so far.
Is that good/bad?
So out of 10k emails we cant have a couple of them complain? It always happens.I am also facing the same issue. As soon as a few of your email receivers complain, your next emails start falling in the spam box.
I have tried warming up my lists before sending the promotional emails but that doesn't work for a long term.Once you send your first promotional email and a few of your subscribers complain, your further emails start falling in the spam folder no matter how much warm up you do.I have tried multiple tier-1 autoresponders as well as self hosted solutions like Mautic but the same issue occurs over and over.
