Forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but this question is somewhat seo related. I'm in the process of setting up a "Business directory" website and I'm looking to find a database containing all or most of the small businesses in the US. I have the general core of the website set up, but I just don't have the time to manually enter and categorize all of the businesses that my site pertains to. If I have the database of businesses then I can generate an sql query from each page to pull the appropriate data to display in a table for each city. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hey Dadelius,

Thanks for the link. It looks like exactly what I'm looking for. Have you ever used this database? I noticed it said that mySQL is not provided. I'm guessing it will be easy to import the data into mySQL. Any thoughts?

A program called navicat can import it into mysql. It works quite nicely.
