Any good beginners book should give you the knowledge to correctly construct the C# syntax and can mold you to be your own pro. The best beginners website I found is http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/csharp/csharp_s1p1.html. Once you are done with that page just click the "-->" link at the bottom and follow it all the way to the end. When you are done, you can pick out any ebook you want that is geared to the type of programs that you are wanting to make.

I'm just suppling you with what I used when I first started. You can't go into it with an idea of what you want to program. Just clear you mind, fire up VS.Net, load the webpage, start reading and applying.

Considering the level that I'm at now, there is no better guide that I can recommend to absolute beginners that want to become pro.
