Adblock still works for me I'm sure they'll just update it to get around it.

Google is so evil that they will also keep updating their blocker. They cannot afford to loose all the revenue.

There are YouTube emulators you can use that completely bypass any ads, not sure if I'm allowed to suggest any, but a quick Google search will let you know more.

Yes but google keeps updating Youtube and most have stopped working.
There used to be Vanced but it stopped working.
