    hi,

    i want know By Changing from website from htpp to https will make some difference in Google's Eye for Ranking ?
    if yes will google count old links not found as till now my sites running as http only for last 3 years or so ?

    https means your site value security of your users.. and that's important

    And that's important when you are processing payments through your website, or high sensitive data.
    But that is not important on you travel guide website, or funny website, etc...

    I don't think google counts https as a better website for ranking!... https is only for sensitive information to be sent through a secure connection

    That's incorrect. if you are using public network e.g. cafe etc.. and you don't want your twitter tweets/ site preferences/ cookies to share with anybody then you need to have https.

    you never log in, so there's nothing to protect then you can use http !

    Https is bad because it uses more resources both bandwidth and processing on server.

    There was a discussion I saw on this around a year ago and the consensus was the same, it makes no difference.
