Authoritative buzzfeed research method:
  1. gets information from documents posted by a member.
  2. uses list to spam potentially affected companies with email requests for information
  3. contacts Google, Sape and Charles Floate for quotes
  4. thinks that contacting BHW to verify information / check rules is unnecessary
  5. writes 500 words about one specific BHW thread, copy-pasting member's content
  6. confuses site hacking with legal black hat link building
  7. implies most injected backlinks originate from one BHW member
  8. discovers that injected backlinks make site owners sad

the sad thing is readers will belive this shito... so much free info out there but too many stupid people everywhere.

That’s one hell of a article too long and boring I would expect nothing less from buzzfeed writers, I feel @Diamond Damien sue them for defamation and slander and show what BHW can do

Can't bother reading it all, but the guy is super confused with 'injected links', SAPE, 'niche edits', and hacked sites

The Buzzfeed quality we're used to

Do you think this will generate enough buzz to force google to rate legit niche edits as hacked spam?

"according to internet security company Sucuri, which is owned by GoDaddy."

I had no clue that Godaddy has their hands in something decent.

Interesting article for sure and some of what people in there shared can get followed right back to them in a legal sense even though they claim they did not know.

Your dollars, you own what was bought.

I have never taken that shite (oops typo :p ) seriously, and I never will; especially after this. LOL.

Can i inject some backlinks into my veins too? I mean is that even legal in Google's eye? I'm sure i will get ranked pretty high too hehehe

Didn't Barnum say "all advertising is good advertising" ?
And yes I'm the seller they are talking about lol !!!! w0ot !
Done over a Million for clients links this year alone lol
Same buzz-feed who predicted Labour would win the election... shows they know fuck all about fuck all imoa :)

The writer just said where they discuss strictly Black Hat SEO approach - picking a small portion to generalize the whole BHW forum . Wish I could get my hands on his ass for a nice spank.

By the way: If Buzzfeed editors read this, and for sure they will; please tag me on your site with me as ``Meddie the guy with shitty yellow avatar comments to much``

I want to be narcissist at least on this lovely month.

From 'you'll not believe what happened next' to shitty misinformed articles. You can expect this from someone who's just hunting for attention.

A lot of what it says is true to be fair, it’s well known that niche edits/curated links whatever.. a lot of them are on compromised sites, myself and others have been saying it for months, and the majority of them are all buying from the same seller.. this is well known in service provider circles too. This article nails it to a tee apart from a lot of the hyped up nonsense about BHW.

We’ve sold our own version of edits for around a year and just recently here on BHW, but it’s only been possible due to having done outreach for years and using those contacts for edits. Recently I’ve noticed people that have never sold SEO in their lives suddenly popping up with access to 1000s of sites they can “edit”, it doesn’t take a genius to work out that they’re reselling from the same dodgy source, this article is bang on the money.

I will add his whole part on Sape is way off though, I should know as it was myself and @GoldenGlovez that first introduced it to the English markets many years ago when no one could access it, I’m surprised people are still even using it to be honest. However Sape are strict as hell on hacked sites and their links are monthly rented basis, nothing like these niche edits he originally started his article off about.

As much as we sometimes criticise Floate around here.. I got a laugh at his last line asking about a backlink from them!
