I have a YT channel, monetized with Adsense. My watchtime is over 8,500+ hours in the past 365 days. My subs are 600+ in the past 365 days. Technically, if I got another 400 subs by the 20th of February, I should be able to keep my monetization. And I've been buying subs for customers for a while from a provider and never had any drops, so I feel an odd sense of comfort in buying these subs. Besides, I don't need many, only 400.

So I'm gonna ask the obvious. If I buy the 400 subs, will I get to keep my monetization? Can anyone take a wild guess?

Yes, you will keep your monetization if you have 1000subs.

BTW, where did you buy the subs from? I need high quality subs for my channel ASAP before Feb. 20th.

Yes, I believe you still get to keep your monetization. If you are buying subs for a while now and you are not experiencing any drop then it is doing really well for you so I suggest you go and buy those 400 subs.

    I have been de-monetized.

I did end up buying subscribers, and now I have over 1,150+ subscribers gained in the last 365 days. And I have 8,600+ watchtime MINUTES in the past 365 days.

I thought I was good, but I messed up because I thought I needed 4,000 watchtime Minutes, not Hours. It turns out I need 4,000 watchtime HOURS in the past 365 days to remain or get monetized.

I just checked Freedom, and it seems they're also affected by this, so to get monetized with them now, the same rules apply.

All things considered, Youtube was an interesting little baby drip for me in passive income. But good thing I never made it my main income or even an important income stream. I did this... for the same reason people will tell you to buy hosting and domain instead of making a free blogger blog for your website. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL. They OWN YOUR ASS!

    Khm...

Now I continue making my money selling things and doing my thing.
