The way I understand it, part of eBays ranking algorithm looks at the views/watchers to sales ratio. If you have a ton of views & watchers, but no sales, won't that actually hurt your ranking on the product? Considering trying to boost some of my listings, but I don't want to flood the product with traffic/views but not generate any sales, and ultimately hurt my listings

Yes. Also remember that eBay favors new listings so if you have old listings with lots of views and no sales that listing will get buried.

Easier to let the listing grow naturally, but flooding it with views and no sales won't help your page.

better to let it grow naturally. if you're getting sales then it can work however if it's just visits w//no buys your listing will do more harm than good.
