    Hello.

If i buy traffic, even if its not great.
Will that lower my Alexa ratings and from that my SERP positions increase?

    Or not?

If you purchase traffic your Alexa rank will improve.

Traffic doesn't directly affect the SERPs. Stick with gaining backlinks

    kinder1208,

    Yes that is correct.

But you need consistent traffic from around the world coming in daily.

So if you get like 10k traffic per day (and they are REAL traffic), then that's 300k visitors per month, so your alexa rankings would be in the 200k-400k, and your serp positions should increase.

However, remember you MUST have your site optimized by placing "keywords" and "description" with the "titles" in the source html.

If you use wordpress website, then this is easy because you just install the plugin All In One SEO Pack, and it should do it for you when you enter the information.

If you stop the paid for traffic will you not just go straight back to your original place? I know there would be an adjustment for the new natural traffic your new Google ranking got you, but are you creating a thing you just have to keep up with.
Just asking considering doing it for a few of my sites but that is the concern that i'm ending up having to keep the paid traffic indefinitely.
