    Hi,

I will be paying $1900 tomorrow for the Studio XPS laptop.

I need a laptop for doing the IM things....

I previously opened a thread, that which laptop should I choose HP or Dell? I personally liked HP Hdx but unfortunately HP Hdx in not yet available in my country. So, my next choice is Dell studio xps, which I will be buying tomorrow.

    So, what you think?

If you already have studio xps then please share your views :)

    Thanks

I've been owning an XPS laptop for quite some time and I'm nothing but pleased with it. Sure it's expensive like hell but its the quality that you're paying for, so it definitely money well spent.

I haven't owned one, but i used to work with PC building, optimisation and maintenance, so think my opinion is a valid one.

Alienware were amazing computers, but Dell never have been. I'm concerned that they're merely trading off the Alienware rep and will actually be the same old shoddy shit we come to expect of the "premium brand" that is Dell, so therefore wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.

I'd have gone with an HP, well actually, i'd have gone with an Apple. Which i also plan to do when i eventually kick the habit of using M$ spyware anyway! :)
