Buying Old Domain to get out of Sandbox

I have a PR 3 site that has a lot of backlinks but it is being sandboxed, it is a 100 days old site

Is it a good idea to buy an old PR2 Domain and then 301 redirect it to my sandboxed site?. Will this harm my sandboxed site? I mean my sandboxed site has more backlinks and the PR is 3.

Tried to find expiring domain with PR 3 + but no luck so far.

Are you sure you got sandboxed? It seems strange for a site with PR3.

I have a PR3 that is sandboxed too

However, you can buy expired PR5 for 100$ on DP (dropped) and 50$ PR4

i would like to know what you did also? I am not sure if i should consider my situation a Sandbox one but i can not get my money page ranked for my keyword anylonger. i was getting up to page 4 within a month and then poof! Gone. i rank for other keywords but not the one i want. any suggestions?

Sandbox is a 3 to 6 month phenomenon where your site is kept in critical scanning. Don't worry it is already 100 days and and your site might be coming out of Sandbox soon.

Buying old domain could have been a great idea, you can find easily from domain providers like godaddy.com and several other domain auction sites.

I am interested how big is chance to get sanboxed with PR5 site If I would like to blast it with xrumer for inner pages.
I am just curious. Does it minimizes a chance to get penalized?
