So I have recently started something outside of the internet that is allowing me to pocket a lot of cash. I have always believed in net success & thought what a better time to invest in some real sites.

My plan: To buy as many websites I can that make around £1000/m (give or take a few hundred) - note: Am I right to believe sites like this go for around £10,000?

I did look at Flippa but am seeing a lot of scam reviews & I am worried that I would fall to one. Can anybody shed some light & give me some advice as to where I can legitimately buy good websites, some other general advice/info & make that paper

    Cheeeeeeeeeers x

Another vote for Empire Flippers - as the previous poster said though you'll have to pay 20x monthly income for a site. Which is worth it when you get a quality, legit site. There can be some gems on Flippa but for the most part I'd be wary about buying from there.

Love the response, I've checked the site out & it all seems great! Thanks for the advice, I don't have any questions right now other than, if you had $20k to invest. What would you invest it in? Would you buy a website as such or invest your time into making your own? I see some of those websites on empire flippers have only been running for a couple years yet are now making thousands every week.

If you only have $20k, I wouldn't suggest buying a website. I would suggest making 4-5 of your own and putting $4k into each.

Would you recommend making micro-niche sites earning with AdSense? Or doing other stuff like affiliate or ecommerce?

Hey OP, if you want to invest $500-1000 maximum, I have a hotly trending product that I need a partner for. This could possibly become worth six figures. Add me on skype or message me.

I know some people have had success in merely contacting webmasters for sites they're interested in and offering a price - that's the only scam-free way to buy a site imo.

Flippa is sketchy, but can be legit sometimes. Don't have much experience with empireflippers, definitely going to check it out after reading what people have been saying on this thread.

What I would suggest doing is making your own sites from scratch, that's the only way your really going to know about their history. There are legit deals out there on sites like Flippa but anything with real consistent earnings won't sell for cheap. Since earnings are super easy to fake, you might be better off looking for sites that have potential, ones just starting to generate organic traffic, and develop from there. GL

I would personally stay away from Flippa.

THere are fresh startups going for insane prices, they not even earning anything, and yes those that are earning are also a bit over priced in my opinion, and coupled with all the recent scam reviews, ... EXIT stage LEFT

If you are buying flippa is not the best marketplace. So many scams. I have had good lucking selling sites there but many buyers there are very inexperienced and know little about the business. I had two sites make $2k and $3k a month and a third I am selling now that is making $1k a month and the issue is they dont get traffic from rankings and everyone on there feels like if you dont have natural search traffic the site is worthless. I do like empire, no junk sites to have to look through.

There are some good finds on digitalpoint and namepros (domains and websites).

It also depends on what you mean by money making sites. Are you looking for sites that make money off ads, affiliate, product sales, or what?

I have read many negatives about Flippa. I would tend to stay away from them.
