Buying links from twitter for a 403 Forbidden website

Hi all

As written in the title, a client is buying a huge amount of links from Twitter with a

403 Forbidden website​

The strange part is that I am providing this service ))

What can be the benefits of those links if the website is not online?
Are they going to launch the site later and get ranked or something?
This is very interesting. Will appreciate any answer ;^)

Maybe it's something similar with the old YT unlisted video method

I take it you've flagged the 403 with the buyer, just in case they've messed up? I've had a few clients who have submitted dead urls - a quick check and a message to them sorted things out.

No, this is a very long story, and we even asked the client this question
