We all know how Google loves brands and I had a website once that had hardly any backlinks but seemed to rank really well.

It had lots of free software on it, so it got a lot of direct traffic and brand searches. I have a feeling these brand searches might have helped it rank somehow.

Does anyone buy brand searches from amazon mturk or microworkers etc?

Yes brand links could help you rank, but you’ll have to find good quality sites to build your brand links on that’s very important

Fb ads, forums, Fb groups work really well if you want people to search for your brand. You just have to provide valuable info(Don't drop the link, don't tell it is yours) and tell them that you use "your brand's" tool to track the amazon links

Your brand can do really well on forums, fb groups.

You can try Mturk etc, and let me know how it does? Have to test CTR manipulation using these sites.

You can code stuff...why not make a bot that can do these brand searches? Add proxy support random OS, devices, specs, resolution, and some protection for leaks and fingerprints....do it well sell it make profits?

I just tried 1 service from BHW for a month, nothing change, unfortunately. I think is about longevity, if you will do for at least 4 months, I think will have a small impact, but remember, Google will track also if the user bounce, quit or use the 'back button'. As @WebMinati said, I think is a better way to promote via a natural way.

I have a customer who has a brand around his site, but I can not see big differences between any other normal random blog which ranks, to be honest.

wikipedia pops up in auto suggestion
