So I added a few products on Amazon from my ecommerce store a few months back and selling has been going fairly well however I haven't received a single review yet. I feel like having a few good ratings and reviews could encourage a lot more sales.

Are there any reliable sites anyone has used recently to buy a few reviews? (verified purchase preferred but not necessary) or should I just look on Fiverr or even post in hire a freelancer or something? After all the crackdown on fiverr and review sites not sure which are reliable anymore.

I used to have the items on an ecommerce site and am considering sending a promotional email to ask for reviews on amazon from previous buyers there and reward a promo code towards an amazon purchase of the item telling them if they enjoyed it and are willing to write a review I'd be happy to throw them half off the amazon purchase so they can get one for a friend. Thoughts on that? Not sure if that's against amazon terms or anything, plus may end up with a lot of first time buyers etc.

Do you ask your current customers for reviews? I use salesbacker.com to send out an email sequence asking for seller feedback and reviews when they purchase. It works pretty well.

For your last idea, I'd definitely hit them up with a promo code. If you want to stay 100% with amazon tos, you'll have to have them throw in "I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion" or something like that.

If you need more after that you can find niche related Facebook groups and offer codes there. Or something like reviewkick.com.
