I'm considering whether or not to buy a domain (auction). It has a nice domain name, has some age and some links (PR0 though).
However I see that it isn't indexed in Google (it's has been parked for a while).
    Does this mean it's penalized/blacklisted?
    Should I buy it?

Not necessarily! You may find that it will become indexed again after you register it!!

I recently purchased an expired domain similar to this, it was not indexed. I added some content and 'pinged' the site and it is now indexed!!

If you want to index your domain in google .you need to setup a wp theme and create a unique post with the word of 1000. but content will be 100% unique and CS passed than send to ping and bookmark it on 100+ high PR social bookmarking it .

You will get indexed 100% in google.

I see. I guess I will give it a go and hope it isn't blacklisted then!

That really has zero to do with my question.

So nothing shows when you type on Google site:domain.com or when you just paste link in Google and search?

I wouldn't bother than, especially since is PR0... Unless everything else is fine like anchor, great DA/PA, link profile is clean etc.

Sometimes a domain bounces back with a new owner. I bought two that were penalized. I got them anyway because the name fit and I was going to flip them. Only three weeks later they were bringing in organic traffic and I found them listed. I can't say that will happen, but it does happen.
