I'm about to use about 3-4k to buy a website off of Flippa (or anywhere, Flippa is just the only place I know of). Looking at some average figures, in the best case scenario, I *could* possibly obtain a website making 1-2k a month with $2000. But realistically, adding in for some other variables, I should be able to secure the above for the aforementioned price.

So is there any advice Flippa buyers would have for me?

Yah.... Ask yourself, "why are they selling something so profitable"?

usually it's always to "start a new venture", but come on...

More like 20,000$ if you're lucky :) Usually people sell their established websites at 10,12 and up to 30times monthly earnings (Depends on how stable is the website earnings and business).

    Tips:
    Check site rankings.
    Check backlink profile.
    Check traffic sources.

Make sure the site that you're about to buy is healthy and will be profitable in the future.

A website that makes 1-2k per month and has decent backlink profile that will last the test of time (no manual/algo penalty) willo NEVER got for that amount, read meatheads1234's thread about selling and buying websites, the tips there are very important.

Do your due diligence when buying a site, especially from Flippa.

Yep i doubt that's going to happen. I mean, 2K revenues yes, but probably 1.8K expenses at least.

I have a small niche site set-up right now. I wonder if I'm better off using the 4k to nurse it to health. Buying a few hundred articles and an SEO package should do the trick as well. Hmmm.

My advice would be to not buy from Flippa at all. A lot of the sales fake revenue and just generally there's a lot of scammers selling on Flippa.
