Ok so there are tons of people selling niches on her for fair prices and I'm curious after reading some posts. Most say the niche sites (ones you pay a higher price for) pay off in the first month.. so now let's say that's true and let's say the next month you get $15 profit.. let's say this goes on for another 3 month's and you end up with say 45$ profit with your original cost for the niche back (completely made up numbers realistic or not hypothetical talk) would you realistically be able to scale this up infinitely until you have like 300 niche sites automatically running themselves with like autopilot on articles and it still being profitable and UN-problematic? this is what I'm wondering about as I like throwing money around and playing with it on ideas

So how realistic is that hypothetical scenario @

    Not very probable.

I believe your numbers are wrong. Typically proven earning websites sell for anywhere from 6 - 20 times the monthly earnings depending on niche, earning history, traffic etc.

So you would definitely have to ride out the investment for a while before breaking even, and then turning a profit.

Of course in that time, anything could happen, especially if the traffic comes mainly from search engines. Furthermore I have never come across a "true" passive investment ie one that produces month after month solid income with no upkeep/work.

SO yeah, your hypothetical is not realistic.

When I say buying niches, I guess I should say niche creation services, so buying a site created for your niche/keyword which where the keyword is also provided then just letting it run after creation with minimal effort towards it. The numbers given were just pulled from nowhere and were just rough hypothetical thoughts.

The traffic would mainly come from search engine-Youtube niche video

When I talk about passive investment like ones that produce month after month, I'm not actually talking about solid income based on one product I'm talking about a huge scaled up project over time where tons of small profits add up to a bigger paycheck at the end of the month.

Go to the currently most volcanic-trending thread in the ShitList and read about what happens to the buyers who buy whatever from the seller who guarantee unlimited income for an initial|one-time medium-to-large|large investment. :) You'll soon be very|extremely|profusely|pathetically sorry if you too fall for such an advertisement. Do so (buy from those sellers) at your own risk! lol

You need to understand that there isn't push button make me rich system.
Without investment (time and/or money) you can't make profit.
There are always some small % of luck that can make you rich over night, but that happen in 0.00001% of cases.
If you want to live life and wait for that 0.00001% to happen to you, then good luck.

Take life in your hands, do hard work and enjoy results!

If you want to buy a niche that pay for it's self, then i will urged you to buy a niche site that is already making money! If you buy from niche site sellers, they will build it from scratch, it might take more than 3 months or more to start seeing any money.

If it was as easy as spending $15 one off and making $15 a month for 3 months minimum, don't you think everyone would be doing it? I would invest everything I have, for one.

Its not as simple as that.

I've bought lots of niche sites in the past - some have worked and been very profitable, but lots haven't.

It depends on many many factors, probably the most important of which is how well you can rank the sites yourself, but also what sort of niche you get, the competition, the monetisation options etc.

Maintaining 300 sites is not that easy as it looks. Plus you will probably need at least basic link building for each of them, at least if these sites don't get viral, which is not so easy to do for niche sites. It's better to think in smaller proportions, but the trick is to find niches/keywords that have higher search volume and still low competition. When you have this kind of keywords, you will do fine with 5-10 sites. :)

After recent updates of Google small niche blogs are not so profitable now Google gives more authority to big niche sites. You have to post atleast one article per week.

Niche sites that run themselves as passive income are only niche sites that have proven revenue and a couple of months history of consistent income. Those you usually buy from flippa, or independent webmaster, brokers.

A new niche site with no revenue or history such as those that are sold by the members here are a gamble. And in the long term, the odds are in their favor - they make more money selling those websites than they would get by keeping them. You may get lucky by stumbling on a winning new niche site purchased from here, but they are not a very good strategy to invest at that scale.

Noted, yeah I was just curious how much effort you need to put into each niche
